Tank Cleaning in the arctic conditions.

Unique solution - "Arctic drive unit" is specially designed portable drive unit for ordinary single nozzle (single and multistage level) programmable cleaning machines. This solution became possible for machines with full flow turbines, by means of using magnetic transmission
That means- there is no any needs to have drive units located at the open deck all the time. They are located in the closed and worm surroundings and can be installed just prior of tank cleaning. This way of doing provides immediate readiness of tank cleaning machines for operation independently on the ambient temperatures.

Heated high-velocity valves.

Low temperature conditions create extra demands for the high-velocity valves design. Due to significant temperature difference between cargo vapors (30?C and more) and ambient (down to - 45?C), it is not possible to avoid the condensation inside the high-velocity valves in the moment of opening. This will lead to the paraffin deposition, which creates the risk of valves opening settings changing and thus cargo tanks damaging.
To avoid such of danger, Press-Vac company has designed the high-velocity valves with heating jacket in the valve's body (steam or fluid media heating) and with heating electrical cable (for the relatively mild environment).
